Finished: A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (Twain) A humorous, and a bit preachy, read about an 1800's man, Hank, who gets conked on the head and wakes up to find himself smack dab in the middle of King Arthur's round table court. Everyone in the kingdom, including King Arthur, considers him to be a man of great powers when he applies 1300 years of learned knowledge and a few pyrotechnics to solve some simple problems. Merlin the wizard is very jealous! Hank brings about lots of change, giving his social commentary about the feudal system, the church of England, and everything in between along the way. I'm sure that alot of Twain's satire went over my head, but it was a fun read never-the-less. The illustrations were wonderful! :-)
